Classes
Foundations
Mantrailing involves training dogs to locate a specific person by following their individual scent trail. Our foundation course teaches you all the foundational skills of trailing a human.
To ensure you’re set up for success, you'll also receive a custom-designed Trailing Key—so you can continue practicing your new skills at home and go 'missing' for other dogs in the class.

Foundation Proofing
Our Foundation Proofing course is where we pull all the skills you and your dog have learnt in the previous Foundations. Focusing on all the skills you need to pass our Mantrailing Achievements and set you up for success to move into the Components Level One.
You will be challenged with 500-600m trails in busy, distracting environments, with greater complexity around the trails that test your dog's commitment to finding and indicating the 'missing person'.

Foundations Plus
In our Foundation Plus course, you will add complexity to the trails. We focus on our dogs working through distractions and disregarding the presence of other humans' scent in the environment.
Trails are longer with more direction changes, and exercises challenge the dog's dedication to the trail. We focus on challenging our dogs' ability to problem solve in the pursuit of finding the 'missing person'.

Develop and Achieve
Looking to bridge the gap between "beginner" and "pro"? Our Develop & Achieve course is designed for teams who have completed their initial training and are ready to systematically level up their skills.
This course provides the perfect balance of high-intensity training and allows you and your dog to process new skills between sessions. We’ll be moving beyond the basics to tackle the specific technical challenges found in your Log Book Achievements.
